Project management When the Climate Change Division of Environment Canada in Dartmouth, NS, wanted to produce 10 regional radio Public Service Announcements—in English and French—on climate change, Tehlsee Communications was hired as project manager. The company determined the audience (radio listeners in Atlantic Canada) and assessed the purpose of the PSAs. This was followed by research of the medium (30-second radio spots) and related issues, such as energy conservation and alternatives to fossil fuels. Next came the writing, peer review, focus group testing and revision of draft radio scripts (see example).
Requests for Proposals were developed for the hiring of consultants for focus group testing and telephone surveys. Tehlsee Communications represented the client during another company's recording and production of English and French PSAs in Montréal. The announcements aired for six months in 2003. Writing a final report completed work on the project. | |||||||||||||||||||||
